A glimpse into the national culture through vivid presentation in one day

Usually the National Day provide an multi-faced presentation of the culture of a certain Nordic Country as well as a space where the Noridc Univerisites and enterprises meet the Chinese students. All kinds of interesting games and performances are included in order to bring to focus the very essense of the national spirit.
Nordic Film Festival & Movie Night
A delightful bite of Nordic art and sensibility through moving images
Together with the Nordic consulates in Shanghai, the Nordic Centre launched its first Film Festival in mid-June 2012, which provided a great opportunity for the Chinese spectators to familiarize themselves with Nordic films and culture. The four films selected for the event are one of a kind, ranging from biographical film to youth film, from documentary of real-life story to award-winning artistic presentation of serious social issues. These films were very well received among the students and caused a series of discussions online.
In addition to the large-scale film festival, the Nordic Centre often organises various Movie Night from time to time with the Nordic Society in an effort to promote mutual understanding and friendship between Chinese and Nordic students.
